Full Truck Loads (FTL)
The transportation of large quantities of packaged, break-bulk cargo by a single customer, often using an entire container or truck (FTL – Full Truck Load). These include goods in boxes, barrels, sacks, containers, or packages, as well as rolled metal products, machinery, and equipment, transported without transhipment. Key features of general shipping: Packaging: Each cargo is packaged (boxes, big bags, bundles), which distinguishes it from bulk or liquid cargo. Single customer: The vehicle is fully loaded by a single shipper. Variety of cargo: Metal products, industrial equipment, household appliances, building materials, timber. Advantages: High safety, fast delivery, tracking, no intermediate handling. Modes of transport: Road, sea, rail, and air transportation.
